First, make sure you are logged in as the administrator. Then, try registering the one in the eboeditor directory, see if that helps. If that doesn't work, use regsvr32 "C:\Windows\System32\Comdlg32.ocx" rather than the %systemroot% command.

You may need to unregister it for first for some reason. So lastly try this. Add any path needed before the file.

regsvr32 /u /s comdlg32.ocx

regsvr32 /s comdlg32.ocx

Are you using vista? this may halep.

You can still register the ocx. For Vista Ultimate x64, you need to place
the Comdlg32.ocx in the \Windows\SysWOW64\ dir. you can then run "regsvr32
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Comdlg32.ocx" and it will register the file.

The \Windows\System32\ dir is for 64 bit dlls only.

How do I register the one in the eboeditor directory?

EDIT: LOL sorry dumb question.. just realized how idiotic that was after I posted it

EDIT ONCE MORE: Thanks Pdub.. I ended up registering all the ActiveX controls in my eboedit folder... God, what a pain in the ass
