Help: cannot continue dynasty after winning championship

I've been searching for the answer and can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm playing Live 08 for Xbox 360. I played a full dynasty season and won the championship.
Now, it just says "the 2007-2008 season has ended" with 2 options: quit & continue.
continue does nothing. just stays on the page with the names of the team and a picture of the trophy.
quit takes me back to main menu.

I saw somewhere that there should be "Begin Offseason" somewhere, but for the life of me I can't find it.

help is appreciated!

Did you select "Season" or "Dynasty" as the season type? If you selected "Season" then you only get to play for one year.
