Talk about NBA Live 08 here.

Ive been playing my NBA live 08 on the PC for a long while now, and love playing it. But the stadiums have always been a problem. Pretty much all the stadiums in my game have some part of it that's constantly flashing/blinking. This can be real annoying and hard on the eyes. I think there's like only 1 or 2 stadiums that don't flash, so I can play normal games, but this keeps me from playing a season, or dynasty. Any ideas on how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

That strikes me as a video card issue. Do you have the latest drivers for your video card? Also, do you have any similar problems with other games?

Well, Im not very tech savvy, but I think its up to date. And I dont really play other games, however I think my bro played need for speed on this computer and had no visual problems with the game. If it helps my video card is a - Intel(R) 82915G Express Chipset Family - From what i found on the computer. Thoughts? Oh, and the Memphis (Fedex Forum) stadium works in the game - nothing flashes

It's possible that the game is having issues with that chipset, though if there is a more up to date driver you can download it's worth a shot. Before you do that though, do you have any court patches installed?

Uhm, im not too sure. I have the v2.5 of the NLSC Current Roster Update for NBA Live 08. If that includes any court patchs, than yeah. If not, I dont think so. why?

It does include a few court patches but only for a few teams. I thought perhaps the problem might be caused by the updates but if you've only got court updates from the NLSC roster then it wouldn't be as from what you're saying the problem is happening on courts that aren't updated by the NLSC roster. That would point back to it being an issue with your video card.

Ah, that sucks. Ill see what I can do about my video card. At least i can still play. Thanks for the help Andrew

No problem. There won't be much you can do if your chipset isn't supported (except buy a new video card, of course) but if it's a driver issue you might be able to get a more up to date driver or possibly even roll back to an earlier driver and see if that helps.
