Having problems with the game, randomly restarts in normal gameplay? Video card settings problem? With my old pc, computer would freeze then after a few seconds gameplay would resume, but i m when screen freezes now... BOOM, reboots

This not only happens to live 08 but other games too.

Have you been noticing any other performance issues with your computer? It might be worth downloading
SensorsView Pro and checking out if your system is running hot. If so, it might mean your CPU and system fans are a bit clogged with dust and need to be cleaned out (I had to do that for my PC the other day).

With games that does not have much animation going on does not restart the pc as much. but with live, i play 3 minute games and the furthest i have gone without getting a reboot is till the starting of the third quarter. with mvp baseball (another ea game) it didn't restart probably after 2 hrs of gameplay.

Did you download and install that utility I posted? It will let you know if your PC is running hot.
The other thing you can do is re-enable blue screen errors in Windows XP instead of allowing an automatic restart.
- Go to Start and Control Panel
- Make sure you're in Classic View.
- Select System.
- Go to the Advanced tab.
- Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
- Under System Failure, untick the Automatically restart option.
- Click OK on all dialog boxes
Hopefully that should give you an error message if the system locks up or becomes unstable, rather than automatically restarting your PC. If so, you can make a note of the error message and then go from there. Try installing and running that program I posted first though.

The automatic restart box was not checked orignally, and i did download the sensorview and my system is not overheated or anything.

That's unfortunate, I was hoping one of those two would yield the answer. I guess you'd also have to look at your video card, perhaps updating the drivers or rolling them back to an older version would help.

I was recently playing a game and got a blue screen with no words instead of a reboot.

Well, the blue screen is what we wanted to see instead of the immediate restart but unfortunately it's not much help if it's not going to give you an error message. Have you done anything with your video card drivers since your last post?

When my pc boots, i noticed that it said my e drive's volume is dirty, do u think that it has to do with the problems ive been getting? Apparently i think the dirty bit is the problem...

Possibly. Any issues with your disks could certainly be contributing to these issues.
