For all of us who dont own a system or dont want to buy NBA Live 09 for it, will there be an ultimate patch to make NBA Live 08 feel like NBA Live 09 for PC?

yes there will be. i'm not sure if anyone is working on it right now.

Even if there isn't a single compilation, I'm sure the updates will contain. Both the NLSC update and Albys' update contain a fair amount of art updates and plenty of others are being made available on a regular basis, so NBA Live 08 (as well as a couple of other games in the series) will be updated.
