LEGS and ARMS

I thought editing a player in the edit players menu would change the gears of my players and that if I save it, it will be their permanent gears, the problem was, when I restarted my NBA Live 08, their gears were back to their permanent gears (EA's), could somebody teach me how to make their gears customized? by not having to edit them everytime I will play?? tnx in advance

after you edited their gear in the edit player screen go to saves and save your rosters and every time you go back and play nbalive again go to saves and load your roster..its simple isnt it?
