controller doesnt work

hi guys.. i think i posted in wrong forum.. i think it belongs in this one.. soz about double post

just bought nba live 08.. and i have a usb adapter to convert my ps2 controller into a pc one etc.. this game won't pick it up for some reason.. i have no issues with madden or fifa..

has anyone heard or had this problem before?

any help would be great.

You said that it work for fifa and madden right? Today I tried my ps3 controller and installed the driver to make it work for pc and first game I tried was nba live 08. make sure you select the first controller icon above the keyboard icon the select side menu. If it doesn't work try go to control panel>Games controller and see if it has Playstaion 2 controller and double click and test if it work right.

i just went out and bought a usb controller.. installed the driver.. tested it with fifa.. works fine.. checked in control panel.. works fine

it doesnt work anywhere in the game.. menu's.. in-game etc.. i've selected generic from the controller profile buti never had this much trouble before.. im lucky i picked it up on special from the shop otherwise i would be a lot more p@ssed off

i don't no what else to do.. i just wana take the bucks to the championship on the back of Bogut -.-

problem solved.. all i did was detect games under xfire.. and for some reason when i played a game the controller worked.
