I don't know if all of you are as lazy as me, but I figured you might be so here is a way to speed up the process of playing the game:
Go to your NBA LIVE 08/configs folder
delete Keyboard1.kfg
rename your controller .kfg file to Keyboard1.kfg
copy it (your Keyboard1.kfg) and paste it in your EA Sports\NBA LIVE 08\interface\configs
and this way you won't have to select your configuration everytime you start up.

Certainly a handy tip for keyboard users, I'm sure they'll appreciate it.

Great find bro but can it be applied to the analog sticks also
