How can i add alphas to jerseys

Save the file as a DDS file with the alpha channel. I used DXT3. Then import the DDS file into the FSH file.

i hope you don't mind me asking, but what are alpha's on the jersey?

The alpha channel is used when 'lighting' is set to 'on' within the display settings. It is a gray scale image that is used to define how the jersey is lighted specularly(shine). Dark areas receive no shine while white areas receive alot of shine.

Deathbringer, there are two ways of doing this. You can save your jersey as a DDS file with the 8:8:8:8 RGB32 format, then open the DDS file and paste your jersey over the alpha channel, resave it as a DDS in DXT3 format(saves space). It will automatically become grayscale when you paste it into the alpha channel. You may want to adjust it's brightness/contrast or levels in the alpha channel.

Another way is to add a layer mask and paste a grayscale version of your jersey into the layer mask's channel and save the image as a PNG file and import it with FSHx.
