My 2008-2009 Toronto Raptors

Sat Dec 15, 2007 8:27 am

I'm in Season 2 of my Dynasty and here's how my team looks:

Chris Bosh
Andrea Bargnani
Caron Butler (acquired from Wizards for TJ Ford in Season 1)
Joey Graham
Kareem Rush (free agent signing)
Jorge Garbajosa
Kris Humphries
Jose Calderon
Carlos Delfino
Daniel Gibson (free agent signing)
Rasho Nesterovic
Jason Kapono
Anthony Parker
Devon Mason (computer generated player)
Julius Pena (computer generated player)

Well, what do you guys think? Is this a good team or not?

It would help if we knew the ratings of your players, and what your generated players are good at. But it seems you do have a very good team based on how these players are playing right now.

You have a nice young team with a lot of potential, how is your team doing? What is your record? I did a toronto raptor dynast for a short time and they were a good team. I think i'll do one again tonight but any way, what are the ratings of your computer rookies? Why did you trade tj ford? But you and washington got a good deal from the trade, i like this team. If i had your team i would train, gibson, the computer rookies and bargnani for a while at least 3 or 4 months. How many assistants do you have?

I started a raptor dynasty last night and we won 50+ games and finished as a number 2 seed. During the season i signed pavolivc, couldn't resign him so in the offseason we got this center name currie who has a 71 overall and a shooting gaurd who now has an overall of 69. Then in the offseason we traded luke jackson and some big man to atlanta for their rookie center rose who now has an overall of 73 and he's our starting center and is a stud. This is all simulation and in our first two games he scored 14 and 15 points and we won both and he even scored 21 in one game. He averages 11 points a game and hardly ever scores less than ten. We're 16-8 and 3rd in the east. Juan dixon is our starting center for now until i train our rookie sg until he's 70 and then he'll start, he's a good shooter to his field goal percentage is 79 but he's a poor 3 point shooter 57 percent.

The Raps aren't a bad team to start off with, seeing how easy it is to make big trades with CPU teams.

Here's a bit of an unrelated note: I play all of my games (maybe five sims per season) for one reason: crappy simulation stats. Anyone here realize that Bosh usually shoots 60-70% 3PT FG and hoists up to 10 3PT shots per game? I'm also getting tired of seeing Dirk on top of the MVP list because he averages 35+PPG.

Trade Alert! Trade Alert!

Toronto trades Kris Humphries to the San Antonio Spurs for Rafael Arrujo. Therefore, my new roster is as follows:

Joey Graham
Kareem Rush (free agent signing)
Jorge Garbajosa
Rafael Aruajo
Jose Calderon
Carlos Delfino
Daniel Gibson (free agent signing)
Rasho Nesterovic
Jason Kapono
Anthony Parker
Devon Mason (computer generated player)
Julius Pena (computer generated player)

Yeah i knew the raptors were good but i didn't know they were this good, i love these good young teams i was successful in making toronto good the first and now i think we're in the second year and i've also simulated milwaukee of all teams to a good team. Who have you been training on your raptor team? I personally enjoy training bargnani who's my favorite player that can shoot threes, this guy has excellent potential, i'm going to train him hard along with others but especially bargnani and see if he can reach a 90 overall like i did with live 07 with adam morrison.
