Yea I'm not c0nr4d, but he has asked me to release all 80 home away and alternate jerseys that pdub and I have collected since before SUM came out. All of these will be 512 jerseys but I have not edited the numbers.

Crashing Issues and How to Avoid Them

Crashing is caused by having too many high-resolution textures being used by the game at one time. The biggest culprit is the 2x Arm/Tattoo/Armband/sweat update from 07. Instead of using the 2x arms patch I decided to stick with the 1x sweat patch and I have not had one crash using 512 jerseys in 07 or 08 yet. If you have installed this patch do the following.


First thing's first use this tutorial if you have installed any of looser's or lagoa's court patches, http://www.nbaliveforums.com/ftopic50604.php

If you have done that, yet you continue to have crashing issues, do the same thing to the lightbloom.fsh files and make them smaller. Also check the std fsh files to make sure there nothing is too hi-res.


If you use the default EA courts, you shouldn't have any issue with this 512 update.



Other than that, a couple things to keep in mind if you decide to use this patch.

After being unrar'd this patch will take up over 1 gig of space on your computer. Yet the download should be less than 50 MB. (I love winrar)

Yes this patch works in 07 but remember to check the courts for crashing issues.

If you have crashing issues with this patch, and if you want help resolving it, PLEASE post what other patches you have installed that may be a hi-res update. This includes lightbloom, courts, stadiums, ball, and sweat patches. As a general rule (except for jerseys, CFs, and arms) if it is at 512 resolution or higher, it should be shrunk down to 256. And if you still have issues, bring it down to 128.


Anyway, hopefully this will be released sometime tonight or tomorrow, I just need to get a couple more textures from pdub.

Over 1 gig?? why is it so big? Shouldn't this be in the area of 200MB?

Are new jerseys like Hawks', Sixers' and Wizards' (new colors like gold on the trims) going to be in this update too?

I was shocked when I saw that it's gonna be 1G after been unrared

Anyone can post the original uniforms folder?
Because I install this jerseys and my game crashes, because I have Looser´s courts and I don´t want to reduce the court´s resolutions. Sorry for my english, I am Spanish.

c0nr4d's complete 512 Jersey Update

paste all viv files into the sgsm/Uniforms Folder. If you decide you want to install this patch copy all of the viv files inside the sgsm/uniforms/unihalf to the sgsm/uniforms folder.


Credits to pdub for having most of these textures and major props to conrad for making the sexiest jerseys for NBA Live.
