Alternate Jerseys in 2008

Greetings folks,

I have read through the threads on here that the 07 alternate jerseys (ie: the Bobcats alt jersey, the Wizards gold jersey) are compatible with 2008. However, when I try to install them into 2008, they don't show up. Am I missing something? I'd really like to play the games with the gold Wiz jersey, if at all possible and only see the Miami Heat jersey patch avail. for download.

If anyone can assist me with this, I'd really appreciate it.

Those jerseys are already in the game, but they are locked.

Open the "teamgear.dbf" of your roster with a program such as DB Commander (not Excel), go to the very end where it should say "ISUNLOCKED" and then change any numbers saying "0" to "1". Maybe the other way around. I think that's been covered before, and the upcoming NLSC update may unlock it as well.

All are 1 already.... still no golden jersey.

Hi andreas... its says at the end of the thread that it didnt unlock the golden jersey of the wizards...

I have the IRPT roster and it has four jerseys that are locked, including the Wizards gold jersey. Change the zero (or blank) to a one. Start the game and load the roster. The only problem is the jersey preview shows the wrong alternate (it's blue). I used the preview file from 2007 and placed it in the SGSM folder. jerseys~wa~wa_serd.big

Either search for a 2007 Washington Wizards jersey patch that includes the gold uniform or send me a PM with your email address and I'll send the file. I think the original authors are Crappy-Stuff (aka Lean), Scorer-20 and Looser. The file is named CJU_SouthEast.zip and has all of the teams from that division. the problem is that, among many bugs of this game, EA even made a mistake with Wizards alternate preview. I have un-locked all the jerseys working on teamgear.dbf but, at first, I saw road jersey preview in stead of tthe gold one. In game you will see the right jersey. To solve this bug I simply took the right file from 07 and put it in SGSM folder.


By the way, in the game are also included old Toronto jerseys, they only need to be added in the teamgear file.
