Does the point guard ever sub

Tue Nov 20, 2007 8:58 am

Is it just my copy or something.. I have subs slider at 100 percent.

Auto subs on

Everyone subs in and out except the pt guards for both sides.

Thanks for any help

I did some testing on this because in a sim game with the Pistons Hamilton and Billups did not leave the floor for one second, even when Hamilton had 4 fouls in the 3rd quarter.

I looked their fatigue ratings and they were 90 and 85 respectively. I turned them down below 80 and the next game they were substituted.

What fatigue ratings did your PG and SG have ?

Thanks

I thought it might be something like this..

I play the games against another team and the starting point guard never subs for either team..

I'll just wait for Andrews rosters, I'm sure all will be ok then.

I just thought it was weird that only the point guard didn't sub..Even when i started a 3 string pt guard.

it's a stamina issue..the stamina rating don't do with with the way stamina is setup for this game. Need to decrease most star player just to get them sub out. Plus make sure there is a bench pg. If there isn't cpu won't sub out the pg.

Thanks for the reply

It's weird with my game then.

I have 3 point guards on both teams that i'm playing.

I set all players stamina to 50 or below.

Neither team subed the PG..All other players subed in and out..

I've played maybe 40 games now and the game has never subed the starting pg.This happens no matter what pg i use.

Like i said i'm playing the game ..I control one team and the computer controls the other. This only happens with the PG.

I have sub set to 100 on the slider's

I also have auto sub on

It's not just the PGs that are not subbing the SGs are not subbing too, I set the stamina of all the team's PGs and SGs to 45, subbing frequency to 60, high fatigue factor and still the guards are not subbing even their stamina is empty.

EA care to explain?

Hmmm..the sub is working well for me now that I put PG's stamina to the low 70. I do noticed that if you or cpu calls time out..it tends to bring stamina back to 100...avoid calling time out and see if pg is sub out when fatique.

All other players do not sub in and out fine. Here's an example.

I created a Center and replaced Wallace on the Bulls. This Center has an overall 90. At the first timeout, he's replaced by the bench guy Grey, even though his stamina is still high. On the next time out, the starter is put back in the game. This keeps happening, the Center being subbed at each time out.

This happens despite foul status, despite a high stamina, despite time gone or remaining in the game. The only way to stop it is to turn off autosubs.

Also, even with autosubs off, the computer still makes some subs for my team.

well sometimes
the computer autosub the point guard when you use sub slider at 57 both at user and cpu
but do not use time out
