Live 08 was NOT worth my money....is it worth yours?

EA is at an all time low in the PC basketball department...I would rather see them stop releasing live on pc entirely than give us stuff like this and take our money, there's no excuse. I mean, come'on it's going into 2008 and almost everybody has updated pc's...well at least I know my pc can handle next-gen games. Live 07 was wack, but NLSC has people who make great patches that made it at least worthwhile to play. But since live 2006, the game hasn't changed it's look at all...EA should at least look at the kool patches that u guys made and make some kind of improvement. Bottom line is I feel robbed and i'm putting my copy of live 08 on ebay.

This games sounds like a total joke. I'm definitely not going to buy it (pc). It's seems like an over-glorified (because it's being sold as a game) failed attempt at a patch. Seriously, what was the point of even making a last-gen game?

Then dont buy it... Even if it isnt that good I will still buy the game because I love my basketball and games... And I dont have the money to buy those overpriced next-gen consoles... And playing the PC version will be worthwhile once the great patchers of this community works on it, just like the SUM patch they did...

well buy it if u want to...just don't say u weren't warned about this piece of crap game, and besides, it's ur money..do what the hell u want to with it. I think EA knows that some people prefer PC titles over Console, and I think if live 08 were next gen on pc this year, it would probably wipe the floor with the console versions...i don't want to have to buy one of these next-gen consoles to play a decent basketball game when my PC is about twice as powerful as a 360/ps3!!....NO NEED IN PATCHING THIS TOTAL BS....just play live 07 with the SUM mod...looks and plays better

Not really... I just love playing basketball games... Whether its crap or great... But the decision to buy this game is depended on whether the time out bug is fixable or not... If it cant, then I would probably not buy it...
