Problems signing free-agents...(360) live 08

Any of you experienced this problem? ...some free agent results like cut from another team, so when i sign them they ask if i want to pay the old contract too, if i choose yes the game freezes...i tried to sign him (for example a player like Lawrence Roberts lol) before the start of the dynasty, when i go to check the contract situation it tells me he is signed for 0 (!) years. When i finish the season and try to resign him it asks the same question and the game freezes...any clue?

I haven't experienced any glitches like that as yet but I'll certainly look out for it.
