Doctored images

There have been rumors for a while that EA doctors the images before releasing them to the media/promotions. Looking at the above pic about settles it for me (left side of the screen). EA doctors it's pics!

The photoshop man....I'll never take a screen shot at face value again especially one coming from EA.

yeah, all games do this, EA does it a lot though.

Some screens aren't doctored, and you can pick those out pretty easily, they still look good though. And the gameplay demo it still looked sweet, so I'm not that upset because live has the best graphics and animations of any basketball game, they just need better gameplay

I have a number of thoughts on this...it's best to list them:
-At first I thought you meant the error was that Zach Randolph had proper defensive position.
-What do you mean EA's target renders don't match actual gameplay?
-Why is everyone so angry?...Probably because of the holes in time and space that suck half their body into another dimension?

fool....some of u take all this EA/2K shit too serious its just a game ...anyway both companies do prerender their pics,from the gameplay videos everything looks on point...dont know why people fuss over screenshots

I don't understand that if they do doctor the photos why don't they fix the shorts and legs a little bit, instead of adding a blurring effect, sweat, and extremely detailed texture in the photos.

i believe this is pure marketing,everybody lies in marketing to sell their product,but this is dumb, this shows the lack of interest and the poor ability

Unless there is some major discrepancy between that photo and what the game actually looks like, I don't mind it. The horrible photoshop error is inexcusable, though.

really though, who cares. all games do stuff like this. its like how all the final fantasy games only show the cut scenes on thier commercials

Look at #7 Fabricio Oberto from Spurs, his head, did they paint his hair or something? The back of his head, what the heck did they do to it. I know he has brownish type of hair but that looks weird to me. Maybe it's just the lightning effect.

I thought these were supposed to be in game footage and not something doctored to make look beautiful in which case they cannot even pull a bluff off

I just noticed something in that screen shobe81 posted (and a mod could thumbnail or link pwease?)...look at the crowd on the right side...

They're all facing the wrong way. I don't mean, we need the crowd to follow the action. But I think they should all be facing the court and not their fellow spectators.
