NBA Live 08 - Not Bad! - Questions

Just installed this and figured out how the resolution works and Xbox 360 controller. This game is pretty good!
It's a shame Live didn't keep getting released for the PC.
Anyway, I have a couple questions.
1. I can't find the thread that includes the presentation mods, specifically looking for the NBC presentation. Is it hidden on another thread in this section?
2. Can someone tell me what the best classic teams roster is (with real cfs, not generic). I'm looking for one similar to the UBR, I saw a historical teams roster but it looks like the faces are mostly generic (from what I read).
3. Any other mods you would recommend for this game?
4. I don't see any tutorials on how to install mods....
5. Is there a roster that has legends on the FA list? Like Jordan, Barkley etc.
I actually like this game more than 2K18. Thinking about putting some videos out on it.

1. I believe there have been some, but they might've been lost to time. They'd be in the NBA Live 08 Miscellaneous section of the Downloads database.
2. There isn't anything quite like UBR, but there are some you could try out in the Retro Updates section. My Ultimate Jordan roster is currently a work in progress.
3. There are some 2018 season roster updates. The last NLSC roster is accurate as of the 2013 season, though. You might want to check out the NCAA mods as well, though they are a few years out of date at this point.
4. The Wiki has you covered here.
5. Most current rosters (including the NLSC update) have missing Legends added to the Legends Pool (which you can toggle to on the Sign/Release players screen), as well as the ones included by default.

Just in-case you get interest adding videos on the latest mod available

These were released for '07, but will work for '08. Classic NBC scoreboard by ultranix, and the transition by me.

Retro NBC Sports Transition Patch 07 <--- MIGHT NOT WORK FOR '08.i know i made an updated one for '08 but i don't think i released it.
I'm still sitting on a classic teams mod that i was converting from '07 .i have about 80% done.who knows if ill ever finish it.

I saw your jumpshot animation using Stockton on the Jazz, so naturally it got me pumped up and searching for retro roster mods.
I'll still probably produce a couple videos of this game anyway, might be fun.

Made a video using the animation mod. I might make a few more if time permits. I also posted this on the User Video Thread.

Thanks! I havn't created any other videos but this one, but if i can get the roster mods to work I will. Currently I'm having an issue with getting Andrews NLSC roster to work.
Troubleshooting later tonight.
