Hello there. I've been downloading and using NBA Live 08 patches here in NLSC and I have seen that NLSC have many great patchers out here. So, I'm here just to say that, can we make a team and make NBA Live 08 more likely of a 2k? I'm not precisely acquiring exact game, but I think with NBA Live 08 patchers combined together I think we can make NBA Live 08 more enhanced. Realistic players, jerseys, courts, etc. I've seen all of those from the patches I have downloaded and it's terrific. I don't have a powerful computer to play NBA 2k's and I think it'll be good if Live will come to a NEW ERA. That's all, thank you.

To be honest, not really. Not even close. NBA Live 08 PC is riddled with bugs and a pretty sloppy game overall, built on tech that's nowhere near the level of the current NBA 2K games. We've done a pretty good job with it over the years and the results are better than the vanilla game, but we've more or less reached the limit of what's possible. As far as putting together a team to update the game, that's what's TUP has been about in recent years. The most recent efforts have more or less fallen apart, at this point there aren't as many people playing or updating the game for such a project to be as successful as it once was.

Now, if people do want to give it a shot, by all means feel free. We obviously have plenty of patching resources and hosting facilities available for the cause, but I wouldn't get your hopes up too much about it happening, or the results being particularly reminiscent of the latest 2K games.
