My NBA Live 08 is messed up

Hey guys. Im using nba live 08 with 2011-2012 teams, players jerseys patch (very good patch, no mess at all) . Later I patched TUP11 PART 1. I dont know what is TUP, but i still patch it. I followed every step. Then, i play the game. Normally, ea sports logo and, normal boot logo. I go checked out the roster and I was like, "WHAT?!" all player's picture are different and some players dont have picture. I choose play now. I use san antonio and cleveland. *In the game* players have black faces, some have c

It's likely that you've installed some conflicting updates. Tough to pin point the exact problem as it's difficult to offer advice when you mix and match patches, but if all else fails, I'd advise reinstalling the game so that you can start again fresh.

dude i already did it but its still the same even i install the first patch not tup

If so, then the first patch didn't install properly. If you're using the NLSC update, please consult the Art Troubleshooting.txt file.

Oh, man. Even though i didnt intall the first patch (not the tup) it's still the same.

After you uninstall the game, make sure there's nothing left over in the game folder (eg C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08) or your Documents (Documents\NBA Live 08).

Oh, one more thing. What is TUP?

TUP is a complete update mod for NBA Live 08. It's currently outdated as the version that's available at the moment is for last season.

Yes, yes I did that too. Let me give some info in the patch i installed, the tup 11. It says in the read me, it deleted 2 files.

HELLO again guys. Hey Andrew, Here are all my problems to my friend's nba live 08.

*LETS START*
1. No player portrait at roster management (after TUP 11 Patch)
2. Black faces during game (after TUP 11 Patch)
3. After installing NLSC 2011/2012 patch, Supersonics, Sixers, Wizards logos are not change even in boot up screen (after installing the NLSC Patch, but it perfectly worked on my pc.)

Let me just clear things, the First patch which is the NLSC 2011/2012 roster update package is perfectly patched.The second patch which is TUP 11 goes wrong, I thing I patched it wrong. So then, I copy/paste NBA Live 08. (Beacause it's only a copy) patch the NLSC to the NBALIVE 08/sgsm folder. Then load the 1112uninjured roster, and certainly it's nothing. I tried reseting roster, setting high quality, but nothing

If you guys would read the tup11 thread,it has been said to NOT MIX PATCHES.
There should be no crashes,except in the second season of the dynasty mode.If you are missing faces and portraits then check the playerpkg in your players.dbf file that is located in your roster and make sure it matches the cf and portrait name in your sgsm.

Okay, heres the thing. When I reinstall nba live 08, i checked the rosters, its NOT the original 2008 portrait, I think its the 2010 portraits and some are missing (no portrait) then i patch the nlsc roster update, then the new players dont have their portraits.

I really don't know how that would even be possible. So long as the art files are placed correctly when the NLSC update is installed, there should be no missing art. There's no way a fresh installation of NBA Live 08 would have 2010 art updates, unless it's a bootleg copy that includes community made patches.

Honestly, my NBA live 08 is just a copy. I downloaded it. But perfectly works
