In the original settings of nba live 08 what is the first song that plays when you first open nba live 08. Is it the xsong1? or the xsong2? Because in my setting the first one that plays is xsong2.

I've currently got the music disabled as I usually listen to my own collection while I'm working on the rosters, but from memory Mothership by Kid Beyond is the first song that plays upon reaching the main menu.

I believe you can modify the soundtrack in-game, disabling songs and switching them around. Failing that, you could probably just change the filenames so that the songs are loaded in a different order.

I don't have any slider suggestions for NBA Live 08 PC because I do not play it but if it's realistic stats and gameplay you're after, try another game in the series.

try doing this:
open your game, go to my nba live, then EA trax, the fourth to the last will be the first song to be played when you open the game.
it worked for my game.
