Slam Dunk Contest

Well, I kinda have two problems. The first is that the clock passes while I don't have the ball in my hands, but not with other players. The other isn't quite a problem, but bothers me, is there any chance of making dunks as the other players?? They dunk after lobs against everywhere in the arena, I can only lob against the backboard..

Unfortunately there's nothing that can be done about that. To put it bluntly, the CPU cheats in the dunk contest by not counting down while a CPU opponent retrieves the ball on a missed toss.
