You can grab default jerseys from the original NBA Live 08 disc. You don't need to reinstall the game.

If the patched jersey is a FSH file in the SGSM folder you can just delete the file. If the patched jersey is a VIV file in the SGSM/Uniforms folder then follow Marek's suggestion.

The problem is that most of the DVD is zip files, and all the uniforms are zipped, when you open the zip file you have different names for the jerseys and not like it appears on the sgsm folder.

Here's what you do.
1) create a temporary folder on your desktop. such as TMP
2) Put the NBA Live 08 DVD in your drive. Cancel the play or install. Open the Windows Explorer. Navigate to the DVD drive. Look for the Group045.cab file. CAB files are compressed files. This file contains the jersey portraits. Use WinRar, WinZip, IZARC or a similar program. Extract the CAB file to your temporary folder. It will have the name "feJerseys_viv". Rename the file to "feJerseys.viv". Now you can use BigGUI or Dollfin Live or EAGraph to extract the BIG files.
3) The jersey files are in Group068.cab. Each jersey is in an individual file. If you want the Adidas away jersey, extract the "sgsmUniformsAdidaway_viv" to the temporary folder. Rename the file to a .VIV file. You now need to rename this file to the same name as in your SGSM\Uniforms. It's easiest to use BigGUI to verify the correct name. Open the file with BigGUI. There will be over 100 files. Look for the correct name, in this case "adidaway". Rename the file "adidaway.viv". You can now copy this to your SGSM\Uniforms folder. Do this far all files you want to recover. Of course this will be time consuming if you are doing a lot of uniforms.
