Players.dbf editing

Hey Everyone,

I have had the game for quite some time and previously, I could edit the players.dbf with Open Office. They my hard drive cashed and lost everything. So I re-installed it and tryed to edit the file but there is an error message which says cannot make connection with the file. Never had that happen.

Any Help would be appreciated

I don't use Open Office myself so I'm not sure what the problem might be but I'd recommend using programs such as DB Commander or DBF Viewer Pro over Excel or Open Office anyway.
