what determines how a player passes?

my situation:
i have alby's rr8 (i would ask him, but he seems to have vanished)
when ever i use Baron Davis and press the alley-oop button...he does it all tricky but throws it out of bounce
how can i make him alley oop normal?

Well, throwing the ball away by a player you're trying to make an alley-oop pass is pretty common in Live 08 as I can remember, so it's more a bug of the game than a problem with rosters you're using.

i see, that may be the case...dumb ea..

but i have an issue of the way he throws it, not necessarily that it goes out of bounce.

when BD (and maybe other pass/playmaker superstars) throws a lob he usually does something like jump up, goes up, goes under, then left, then right, then does the hokie-pokie, and then throws the alley-oop...very annoying

why cant he just toss it normally?

Maybe because superstar moves in Live 08 activate automatically and you have totally no control about the types of passes that your superstar player performs in a given situation.
