NBA2K9 for PC is here so NBA Live is history

I want to thank each and every one of you for your patches to make my NBA Live experience on PC greater than what EA could ever do on their own. I've been coming here since NBA Live 2004 and greatly appreciate all you guys' rosters, cyberfaces, jerseys, sneakers, dornas, courts, and gameplay fixes.

Truly...Thank You All!!!

NBA2K9 is out for PC for ONLY $20!!! and I am HIGHLY impressed!!!. So impressed, I will have to leave NBA Live for good(or until they can do a comparable job). The gameplay and presentation makes me feel as though I am IN AN ACTUAL NBA GAME. The only dissappointment(and really it's minor to me) is how the the jerseys don't move like they do on XBox 360, but they look good nonetheless.

If you have a good video card, NBA2K9 is the basketball game to play this year! Oh and you will need a Steam account. If you have Steam installed already, uninstall it before you install NBA2K9 or else it will ask you for a CD key when the game does not come with one. The disc has Steam on it and it autofixes this minor glitch that 2K sports is already aware of.

I advise you all to try it, plus I need people to play against online...and the best part about it(besides EVERYTHING)...it's only $20!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have Steam installed already, uninstall it before you install NBA2K9 or else it will ask you for a CD key when the game does not come with one.

No one needs to uninstall Steam. Just make sure it's updated through "File->Check for Steam updates..." before installing.

They do. Set the player detail setting to "Ultra High."
