Way to delete Josh Childress?

Since Josh Childress signed to play overseas is there a way to delete him from the Atlanta roster? Maybe not delete but just make him unavailable to play, in case he comes back next year?

If there are some players that are set on in-active (IL) on the reorder roster screen (if you have downloaded it) you can switch him up with with someone and set him as inactive. That would be the easiset way, however that requires Atlanta to have I 13 or more players, I belive. If else, you can try other things such as DBF editing (which I have no relation to) or just place him as a free agent, hope no-one signs him during the season and if he comes back, hope he will sign again

You can leave him in the database but remove him from the active rosters. First, release him to the Free Agent pool. Save the rosters and then open players.dbf with DB Commander. Locate Childress and change his TEAM attribute to 32.
