They are pretty easy, man. Just click around and see what happens. Both has open, import, export, etc.
biggui saves automatically when you make a change, and it also has a rebuild function(it basically rebuilds the order of the files in the viv), can rename files within a viv, and export multiple files at once. Be careful making alot of changes, though. It can corrupt a viv permanently and does not make backups.
Fshx can double the resolution or divide the resolution of an image in half, can import PNG files(you have to type the name of the PNG file in the file box), DDS, BMP(but with no transparency), and export DDS and BMP files.
