problem using any nba ball

not sure why this is happening but, any ball patch i use the ball is always messed up. it looks like this....

even if i pull ball.fsh out of my sgsm folder the default ball still looks the same. the only ball that actually works the way it should is the molten g7. what is going on? anyone have a clue? i assume its with another patch i installed but any help is much appreciated.... thanx[/img]

The problem is the UVmapping of the texture on the model.

Is there a ball.ebo file in your sgsm directory? Rename it to ball.ebo.bak and see if the ball that you pictured works.

there isn't a ball.ebo file in my sgsm folder, only a ball.fsh file. even if i take the ball.fsh file out of the sgsm folder, the default ball is still messed up. the only ball patch that works the way it should for me is the molten ball...

It looks like you may have installed my ball from 07, or something. 07 balls are incompatible with 08. Try downloading a ball from 06, I believe they may be compatible.

good call, i used a ball patch from 06 and it works perfectly, thanks for your help, its much appreciated.
