NBA Live '08 Shuts down PSP after game...Help Please!!!

Everytime I play NBA Live '08 on my PSP it shut my PSP off. This usually happens after the game after I look at the stats but also happens around the 3rd or 4th quarter. I exchanged it at the store for a new one, but this problem still persits. Please advice on what to do???? Much Thanks

Does the problem occur when you're playing any other games?

No. It only happens with the NBA live '08. I saw someone else on another site having the same problem.

Well it could be your battery. The psp umd drive can take up alot of power. The battery doesnt last too long. Especially when you play a game. I would suggest you get the new psp slim or send ur psp to sony and get another one.

It is not the battery. It is a new PSP (purchased in late October) and it is the new slim PSP. I thought it might be the battery so I plugged it in. Still happens.

As I mentioned...this is the only game this happens with.

A quick search on EA's Tech Support site doesn't reveal any clues. They might have had some other people experience similar issues so it could be worth bringing it to their attention. You can find the tech support section here.

I'm not sure what to suggest beyond that as I don't own a PSP.
