Cannot go to Assistant in Dynasty

Well this problem has been happening since my
last download (reorder roster patch). Every time I want to go to
Assistant in my Dynasty Mode, it crashes. So is there any solution to this problem?

Did you try removing/renaming the file? Have you tried making a new dynasty and going to assistants to see if it is a problem with a patch or the dynasty?

Sorry to "up" this post but i've the same problem. When i want to see my assistant coach, the game crashes. I haven't renamed the save, and it works with a new dynasty. Anyone can help me? thanks.

No one can help me? I can play every mode, but in dynasty mode i can't train the players...

Have you modified the database in any way? Which patches are you currently using?

Do you remember any patches that you may have installed after starting your dynasty? Notice that the person who started the thread sais he got the problem after applying the reorder roster workaround patch, but he hasn't replied to whether he resolved it or not.

@Andrew, I've modified my db (reorder the all star rosters).
@ Pdub, i've installed some court patches, the roeorder roster patch and the gameplayfix_1.34.

Did you edit the databases with DB Commander or another program? Quite often if there's a problem with a dbf file the game will crash with a Codebase Error but that's not always the case.

Try renaming the screens~teammgmt~injreserv.big file in the sgsm directory and then attempt to train a player. It's the reorder roster patch. I'm not sure if would have anything to do with training players, but it's possible.

Does the gameplay fix come with any BIN files that go in the tuning folder? If so, it's also possible that the lineups or suborder files could have something to do with it.

I edit my db with dbf viewer 2000. I tried renaming the 'screens...big' file but nothing changes. And i replace the original tuning folder (I made a backup

) but it still crach...

What specific changes did you make in the dbf? Perhaps you missed a step when you were editing.

I changed some team's players like Shaq to the Suns...and i changed two boxes (Team and team cash, something likes that)

You might have missed a step; here's a step-by-step guide to making trades through DBF editing if you'd like to double check.

Did you also update the ROSTERPOS values accordingly so that no two players on the same team shared the same value? I noticed before you only mentioned changing two attributes, you also need to check ROSTERPOS for the players involved with the trade.

If all else fails, back up the patches you have installed and reinstall the game. Check to make sure the error doesn't occur when your game is unpatched; if everything works fine, you can start adding the patches back to see where the problem lies.

Yes i updated the rosterpos, i forgot to say that.
I'll try to reinstall the game without any patch (i've a backup folder with only the basic installation, maybe trying with this).

No problem. If you've got a lot of updates installed it might take a while but it's likely an issue with one of them, so as soon as you can isolate the problematic one the problem can be investigated further.

I tried with no patch installation but it's the same. Well, i tried replace all the files into my dynasty folder by others dynasty files, one by one, and i found!!! This is the franchise.dat which crashes the game. Can i replace this by another dynasty without any changes?

You can back it up and try, but I'd expect some Dynasty data will be lost.

I've tried, but this solution doesn't work. Then i created a new dynasty, simulated until the same date, and i replace some dbf files, like players, team, career, into the new dynasty folder, and it works now.
I think the franchise.dat doesn't work when i install some patches after beginning dynasty.
