Crashing when editing player

i want to know why does the game crash when i try to edit vince carter but when i try to edit other player it doesn't crash. is there something wrong with carters files?. this editing problem that causes the game to crash is just one of the many many bugs of EA's NBA BUG 08.

I haven't had any problems editing any players, including Vince Carter. Do you have any patches for Vince Carter installed?

thanks for responding, i didn't install any patch for vince carter even if i re-install the the game still crashes when editing carter. i think theres a problem on my pc because when i install the game on the other pc it worked well

I had this same problem. Figured out what it was, the away outfits for certain teams were missing from the teamgear.dbf. That fixed the problem pronto when I replaced the missing files from another roster.
