3 Point Shooting?

Hey,

I have some problems shooting balls from downtown. I mean it simply does not work, even if I am totally free with good players like Wally Szczerbiak, Demon Stoudemire or Eddie House. I simply miss them. I make maybe 1 out of 10 maybe less.
I was looking for a thread with this topic, but I could not find one that really satisfied me. Some were discussing that it would be more realistic, but the CPU hits them like crazy, that cannot be true.
Do I have to release the ball at a certain height or is there any special bottom I don't know?

i found two things that you can do to hit threes almost every time. One thing that you can do is when you reach at the very top of the jump, wait for about a second and release the ball, or release the ball when the shooting arm is completely straight. I did these two things with jj redick and others but especially with reddick and in one game he got over 30 points mainly hitting threes and i have my sliders shooting under 65 percent i didn't even change the sliders. Sometimes during the game you have to get a feel of how you shoot 2's and then if you shoot the 3 pointer the way you shoot the 2's you should start to make 3s.

hotspots actually screwed the game, shooting is to dependent on the zones. I raised all the hotspots for 3p to 90 or 95, and it works pretty good for online play.

make plays, so your 3 point shooters are wide open.


raise the long range shooting sliders to 55 - 60

Shooting fade away three's also works, it creates space between you and your closest defender... hope it will help..
