Dbf editting trades: should they happen?

I'm about a third of the way through my 2007-08 season with the Hawks and I'm planning on doing some overhauling of rosters to help/blow up teams. I wanted to get some feedback on the proposed trades. I am bearing in mind the record of the clubs (which is why the Magic [20-9], and the Lakers [17-11] aren't involved, though originally slated to be) and didn't pay much attention to ratings:

Nets (8-19) with the Pacers (6-24):
Nets receive Jermaine O'Neal (88), Shawne Williams (65)
Pacers receive Richard Jefferson (86), Jason Collins (60), Antoine Wright (68), 2008 1st rd pick

Why? Jefferson isn't having a great season and O'Neal will give the Nets a huge boost in the frontcourt (Krstic is having a good season, better than Jefferson actually, but that's it). The Nets' big three would be much more potent and hopefully allow them to turn their dismal season around. The Pacers are terrible and need to rebuild but will have a tough time doing so with such lousy contracts on hand. Here, they pick up a better prospect in Wright, get a very good SF (positioning so that he and Granger get to start will be changed) and another body who will come off the books soon. Plus a first round pick which could turn out to be shockingly high if O'Neal doesn't work out as planned.

Big trade:

Kings (9-16) & 76ers (5-22) & Grizzlies (13-15) & Cavaliers (15-11)

Grizzlies give Stromile Swift (73), Kyle Lowry (69), future pick
Grizzlies receive Donyell Marshall (76), Francisco Garcia (63)

Why? Right now they are a bubble team to make the playoffs. Stro is decent, but Marshall, should he play somewhat like he used to, would be of greater help, also leading to less reliance on the inconsistent Milicic. They lose Lowry but have Conley putting up good numbers and get Garcia in return, who is a good sub. Should allow them to make a playoff push while still staying young throughout the transition (no Marshall isn't young, but he comes off the books in two years as opposed to Swift's one)

Cavaliers give Donyell Marshall (76), Eric Snow (67), Ira Newble (63), 2008 1st rd pick
Cavaliers receive Mike Bibby (81)

Why? The Cavs are at the bottom of the seeded teams to get in the playoffs. They have no point guard. Bibby would help tremendously. They also unload 3 players who don't do much (Marshall really isn't a huge help in the game for them this season). This makes them immediately more competitive. They also do have Varejao and Pavlovic in the game so hopefully will keep them next summer.

76ers give Andre Miller (79), Rodney Carney (68)
76ers receive Stromile Swift (73), Kyle Lowry (69), Eric Snow (67), future 1st rounder

Why? Carney is rotting on the bench and the 76ers have no assets to trade. Here they get a large expiring in Swift, a possible future starter in Lowry and someone to fill the void at PG for now in Snow (plus he comes off the books in two years). Sure, they could possibly get more value for Miller, but they get some flexibility and some assets along with future picks.

Kings give Mike Bibby (81), Francisco Garcia (63)
Kings receive Ira Newble (63), Andre Miller (79), Rodney Carney (68), 2008 1st rd pick

Why? They're blowing up the team - it's not working. The experiment has failed. They give up Bibby and a good young guy but bring in a better SF (Carney) and expiring (Newble) a solid, reliable vet to man the point until a replacement can be acquired (Miller), possibly through the draft, with Cleveland's pick.

I think it comes down to whether you feel it's right or not. I think if you perform trades for yourself through DBF editing you're cheating yourself out of the challenge of making a deal but fixing the CPU rosters when they make odd trades sounds like a good approach to me.

Where do you exactly change the trades and in what dbf during a season. I'd like to make trades that were made or will be made during the 07/08 NBA season to keep my dynasty real.
