A few questions

I am using the PC version of NBA Live 2008 and i just had a few questions...

first thing... how do you control your shot?

I set W as shoot and whenever i press it i have the same exact shot all the times. It takes forever to shoot and i miss a majority of them... how do i quick shoot or take my time shooting?

Also how do you use your players attributes? I saw they got rid of the superstar but i do see some signature shots by the CPU at times... how do i control that?

Also i remember using PPjoy last year but uninstalled it afterwards as i thought Nba Live 2008 would be different. Do they still use the same exact keys for it and if so can someone tell me where i can redownload PPJoy and what the keys were?

Also how do i make quick passes in this one? Whenever i hold onto the button i just lop it...

regarding controlling your shot
Hmm I'm using a controller and I don't know if it makes a difference but...
In one of the settings pages (probably gameplay settings) set the shot control setting to user.

regarding quick passes
I think there are different kinds of passes depending on wether you tap or hold the pass button. The hold button usually does a lob pass so i think that's what happens.

Although as I said im using a generic usb gamepad with analog controls so perhaps a keyboard and a controller could have different err input settings

1. how do you do special passes and stuff? I see Kidd do it but i can't do it w/ Marbury
2. when trading, is there a way to check the salaries while your already in the trade block thing?

I did that superstar passing move from 07 with Iverson in 08 but i really don't know how i did it. I still couldn't get used to the controllers. I think CPU does all superstar moves whenever it decides to. I've stolen the ball like a superstar couple of times also but again i don't know how I did it. No superstar blocking or 3 point shots. Does any one have tutorial or something? 07 had tutorials in the game menu.

yeah i know what ya mean... and they also had the salaries stuff making trade possible

I believe all the special moves such as the fancy passes are automatic/contextual this year.

It doesn't look like we're able to toggle between salaries and the interest bars.

Previously we've been able to toggle between the two but there's no function for that this year. It's gone in the PC issues list.
