Substitutions & Fatigue: PC

It seems i Auto Subs doesn't work.

Despite setting fatigue to the maximum level, along with Sub Frequency i have not had ONE auto sub.

Fatigue works, as players visibly slow down.. but they dont get subbed.

I tried going the foul route, but 5 fouls in the first few minutes on one player didn't get a result in an auto sub.

I've brought every version of this game since Showdown94, including since Live 97 on PC. The last couple has left me asking why i continue to punish myself. Would be great to see some competition for EA in the PC market.

At least the game doesn't crash in Vista this year...

Weird, there definitelyt seems to be automatic substitutions on the PS2 version. Has anyone else had a similar experience with the PC version yet?

It that any different than:

setting fatigue to the maximum level, along with Sub Frequency

If it is different, then where do i find the "ON" switch.

I've tried with the same sliders on PS3 and it works fine.

goto the substitution screen

at the bottom it says "Auto-Subs"

Read and say yes.

you have to do this everytime you start a new game.

With Subs on, with fatigue set to high, with sub frequency set to 100 players on my team are rarely subbed, stars never. Game after game for the Bulls have Gordon, Heinrich and Deng playing the whole game, even though at times their fatigue is at 0.

I've tried fouling, but still no subs.

Yes, Auto Sub is turned ON in the substitution menu.

works for me, i'm playing with boston and Garnett gets subbed frequently (even though i dont want it

how long are your quarters fjccommish, I've found that if I play 3 minutes instead of 5 minutes the game will allow tired players to finish the quarter.

i play 5 min per quarter but the game didnt make any sub kind of weird
and the player like t mac kobe never get tired is that a bug

That's true, actually. I use 5 minutes but i only get 2 of my players substituted.

I find the computer only likes to manage the C and PF and just leaves in Pg, sg, sf the whole game basically.

Same issue here. I always play as the Mavs and the only one that get's auto-subbed throughout the whole 6 minute-game is the Center... unless of course there's an injury.

No rotation at all.

There is a glitch somewhere.
I played Det vs Miami. I was Detroit. Jason Williams picked 3 first quarter fouls and still remained in the game. (quarter length - 9 min CPU sub freq - 65).

And Shaq and Haslem subbed out after 2 minutes with no reason.

Any thoughts on this and how to fix it so CPU players with 2 fouls in the 1st get subbed?

Hmm, I've had no problems. Auto Subs substitute my center and pf usually first sure, but SF and SG haven't been so rare (playing US national), and on some rare occasions even Kirk's been substituted. Not sure if it's roster dependant or not, though fatigue seems to encourage subbing alot more. Now that this has been brought forth as an issue, I'll look into it and test out some other teams.

Same problem here

The starting PG's for both teams never sub

The game mainly subs C and PF...

Sure sucks are it seems they don't care if the ever fix the game right.Year in year out same problems.

Also they really didn't even fix the Pg shooting too much problem either.

Maek has posted a possible solution in the support thread for v1.00 of the NLSC roster update that I'll be trying out in future versions that basically involves adjusting the fatigue ratings.

even sliders that fitted my gamestyle

but this thing is wacked!!!!
