08 Dynasty team

Postby dascoot on Sun Apr 29, 2007 3:23 pm

I noticed there is no dynasty topic for 08 so until there is a posting for it I will put it in 08 general. My question is what team will you pick? I am torn between Boston, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Washington. I am leaning more towards Boston or Milwaukee.

i would take boston(if they get a good draft pick). i would definately choose a team which got a top 5 draft pick. maybe Grizzlies, Celtics, Blazers, 76ers, Sonics .etc

The Bulls are traditionally my first choice, I don't expect that will change this year.

I'm having trouble deciding. I want to use Orlando because of Dwight Howard, but I want to use other teams that needs rebuilding like Minnesota, Atlanta, or Memphis.

will use boston as always, and i hope to get a number 1 pick to play with. i usually play 2 ways and it depends on my mood that year i guess. 1 way is i play entire first season with current team and dont make moves til season 2 or i trade whoever i can to load on on that years top rookies. well rookies and second year players, last year i had a starting lineup of rookies lol

My first choice is the team, where Greg Oden lands :D I have watched him play since he was 16, so its my duty to play with him first and look, how he is in the game :P
My Player Progress 2007-2008:
#1 - Dorell Wright and #? - Greg Oden
#? - Glen Davis and #? - Kevin Durant
#? - Ron Lewis and #? - Mike Conley

you champion! go Blazers!

i think that Blazers will be one of the best teams to use on 08, because they will have another good rookie to develop, and they will have Roy and Aldridge who are young but will have an ok overall because of their good rookie seasons. and Randolph deserves an overall of atleast 80!!! every live game that i have played has given him a rating of 77 or lower for their default roster.

I reckon the Warriors might become a popular option for a lot of people, particularly if they do go on to upset the Maverics in the Playoffs this year. Their small ball lineup should appeal to anyone who likes to run and gun, they've got a fairly young core and players who should have high enough ratings to facilitate a few trade scenarios for those who want to shake things up. The Nuggets are another intriguing option with a possible lineup of AI, Melo, Camby, K-Mart and JR Smith backed up by a fairly solid bench led by Nene.

I was using Dallas as the first team everytime, but it is not interesting to play with them now. So I will try to use some weak team, maybe Memphis or Boston.

Considering they did indeed finish off the Mavericks I'd say their stock has probably just risen.
