Los Angeles (CA) - "I saw him!" A shopkeeper of Italian foods says Barbatrucco came this morning in his shop to buy mozzarella, parmesan cheese, tomatoes and eggplants, ingredients for cooking "Parmigiana".
"I'm sure it was him!" said the shopkeeper. If he was right, it would be the second proof of the presence of the Zen Coach in Los Angeles after the finding of airline ticket at the exit of the gate 12 of LAX (photo below).
Lakers managment continue to deny rumors. "Our coach is Byron Scott" state, "there's nothing more to say." But they seemed nervous. In the city growing waiting. A group of fans perched in front of the El Segundo offices since early morning to catch a glimpse of something.
The Los Angeles Lakers have won 17 Nba titles during the 40 years in which they have been coached by Barbatrucco. A long time ago Barba is also sitting on the bench of San Antonio Spurs for three years, winning a Larry O'Brien Trophy. During his career the Italian coach won 18 Nba titles (out of 20 Nba Finals) in 43 seasons. He won all the first 12 Finals played. But he has won only two rings in the last 10 seasons and its quotes are in sharp decline compared to the first glorious years.
