NBA 2K15 - My GM Mode - New Orleans Pelicans [12-12]

Hello, ladies and gentlemen.

I welcome you to NBA 2K15 MyGM Mode, where I will be the manager of NOP. Before we start the settings are in video, but will put them here:

Quarter Length: 6 mins
Simulated Quarter Length: 6 mins
Difficulty: All-Star
Use Roster Injuries: On

Goals for the season:

Get 1st round draft pick card
Keep Team Chemistry Level @42%
Don't lose more than 33 games in the season

All of those I find are achievable, but we shall see...

The team average age is 24, so definitely a team to build upon and we have 2 promising stars here in: Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday .

As it's MyGM where we have to play 82 games, I will do a twist. I will be playing 1 game out of 4. 82/4 = 20.5 games to play (I will bring highlights from those games up). Roughly. That will save some time and I can progress to S2 faster that way too.

Without further ado though, here is the 1st episode, where we get to do our first 2 trades:

Hmm, I just realised I didn't need second one .

Well, I didn't like the thought of having to rely on Asik in my team, thus why I wanted to let him go. Probably will come to bite me in the end, but hey, no risk, no fun .

With that said, I won't be doing anymore trades and just get on with the team I have now. Will post it up, soon.

On opening night we lose our first game vs Orlando Magic going into Overtime. Lost 65-71. Definitely not the start I wanted...

Then came the 3 simulated games, 2 of which our team has won (vs Mavs 51-50 and vs Memphis Grizzlies 50-42) and we suffered one more loss (vs Hornets 48-54). Before the next game I had to play we were at 2-2.

However, our next game... Was against the Champions: San Antonio Spurs. They are on the run of winning 4 straight games in a row, could Antony and co. half their run? Be sure to check out the video.

We are back in New Orleans. After last loss vs Golden State Warriors, we have another 3 tough games to sim and play ahead.

12-12 win-loss and .500 ratio. Remembering that expectations were not to lose more than 33 games this season it will be quite difficult now that I think about it .
