You know me guys... I haven't been to the forums in a couple of months but I'm always waiting for the new 2K game to come out and start a new association. A couple of weeks ago I wasn't sure: go with the Kobe-less Lakers, try and be relevant until he comes back; or go with the Bulls. Both have good stories to begin with, but what's going down in Windy City is really interesting. All this soap opera about Deng is a good start -- will he stick with the team (even though I did trade him in a previous simulated season)?
But the real story in Chicago is Derrick's return. Every headline right now mentions him, as he's trying to be (once again) THE leader, leaving behind 18 months of being nothing... much like our friend Walter.
So, for the first time I will give the players some actual characters and stories that they can be built around, all from a player's point of view... and that is, of course, our man D-Rose. I'd say I have him, Butler and Noah as the only untouchables for other teams. Next season could have a totally changed Bulls squad.EDIT: Decided to go with my modded 2K13 (Albys' rosters and draft classes, all 30 new courts, daninoz' 800+ jerseys, scoreboards). Other than that, I will try to continue what I did with the Spurs here. Of course I'm hoping to receive any feedback you guys might have. Buckle up!
It's all about getting D-Rose back to the place he deserves. And going berserk while he's at it (hopefully I'll get him another MVP).
