Disclaimer: I know I just started and abandoned a Nuggets association a couple months ago, but I didn't feel like starting something in 2K12. I don't know why, but for dynasty/association mode I really enjoy playing Live more than 2K; I like 2K more for online and MyPlayer. There's something about Live's arcade style and plastic looking graphics that I strangely like. This section also seems to need a boost in activity, so I hope to bring that.

I found a great set of rosters from hoopheavenbris aka BiggD that are current to this season. You can find those here. Enjoy the dynasty and here's to making it a success!

Rasheed Wallace returns to the NBA, signs a 2 year contract with the Lakers



Rasheed Wallace will come out of retirement to take another shot at adding another title to his career. He will surely add a veteran presence and a voice in the locker room for an already championship-level team.

Allen Iverson comes back to the NBA, in with Orlando for 1 season



After a stint overseas, Allen Iverson will come back to the NBA for a guaranteed year with the Magic. It is unknown at this point whether he will start or come off the bench. Perhaps Orlando is doing this as an attempt to get Dwight Howard to stick around.

Kirilenko, Brooks return from overseas, come back to their respective teams



Andrei Kirilenko and Aaron Brooks will come back to their respective teams, Utah and Phoenix, after spending some time overseas. Both have signed a 1-year contract.

Good comment because DeRozan, Bargs, and James Johnson are the three guys I want to build around although Johnson might take some developing to become a good player. He's only a 65 overall now. And at some point I plan on Bayless taking the reigns of the starting PG and Amir Johnson is a good bench player Kapono is a great shooter in this game but the sub logic has some trouble putting him in lol

More minutes simmed was what used to work for me but I did do a couple of tests and I'm surprised because 6 min played for me matches up well with 6 min simmed

Sure 6 points and 3 rebounds aren't impressive stats, but what Luke Harangody did in the waning moments of the game was probably more than Cavs' head coach Mike Brown expected out of him. The Raptors were struggling all game and trailed by a large margin, but in the second half DeMar DeRozan led a huge comeback rally. Harangody,who just played 3 minutes answered every bucket of his with a quick 6 points in the final minutes of the game. Neither coach called a time-out, and left the outcome of the game to their second units. DeMar DeRozan really showed potential in this game of being the Raptor's future star, as well as Andrea Bargnani.

lol I was thinking the same thing. No matter who the players is, the starting centers and power forwards always seem to get double digit boards.

Tough loss, but at least your Center and Power forward can reach double figures in rebounds unlike 2k where Dwight could end up with 7 a game

I think it's the way Live plays; the paint gets really congested by the power forwards and centers and there really isn't any room for the other positions.

It will probably be a lottery-bound season for us indeed. I did the Iverson move as a way of the Magic trying to convince Howard to stay, except this is the 09-10 season in the game so he isn't a free agent for a couple of seasons (3 I think).

And an interesting note guys: I've been playing and simming a couple of games here and there and in all 3 games I've played Jose Calderon has had the same stats: 2 pts, 2 reb, 3 ast. I know that's low production for him, but still, very weird...
