Bobcats Hope to Gain Size

After the season opener at home yesterday, and their second game against the Bucks, the Bobcats have recognized one of their primary weaknesses, their lack of size inside.

“When you’re giving up 12 offensive rebounds to Glen Davis you just realize that you need to get bigger and stronger inside,” says Head Coach Paul Silas.

Tyrus Thomas and Boris Diaw are currently the two starting big men only averaged a combined 10.5 rebounds per game.

The team has hope in rookie Bismack Biyombo; however he most likely won’t be a force for a while.

In the future you should look for the Bobcats potentially targeting free agents and trade targets who can rebound and score inside. Desagna Diop has also been taken off the inactive list, and will play in the team’s next game against the Grizzlies.

What are you planning on doing, roster wise?? You surely lack a big man in the middle, but your depth isn't something to pride about. This roster needs a lot of work, hopefully you can keep it realistic and not do so much moves so fast!

Haha thanks. I'm planning on keeping the roster mainly the same. Probably gonna build around Kemba and Biyombo and maybe get rid of Augustin and Diaw eventually.
