Recap/Team Stats/Pacers Box/Pistons BoxNov 2nd 2011, The Palace of Auburn Hills
Indiana rolled into Detroit with high hopes of there recent trip to the 2011 playoffs which saw them fall in the first round to the Chicago Bulls 4-1 in the series but as coach Frank Vogel put it "shows the direction we are moving" however his Pacers team must of felt like they were still on holiday with there lackluster handle of the ball coughing up 22 turnovers for the game and a slow start of just 16 1st quarter points.
Both Indiana point guards struggled to look after the ball and get into the flow of the offence Collison committed 4 TO's while new comer and former Spur George Hill had 5 which help the Pistons along to 18 fast break points.
Captain Danny Granger calmed the storm with 21 points on 8-15 shooting but got little help unlike the Pistons who sent on super sub Ben Gordon in the 2nd quarter, he shot the lights out in the 2nd and 3rd quarter earning player of the game honours with 22 points 10-13 shooting in just 19 mins. Detroit also got a lot of clutch buckets from Richard Hamilton, he also scored 22 points while Rodney Stuckey chipped in 13 points and 9 assists for the Pistons.
Indiana never lead in this game and it was a major learning curve for everyone involved, the Pacers did however get a double double from 3rd year forward Tyler Hansbrough and Josh McRoberts was also solid off the bench.

Recap/Team Stats/Thunders Box/Pacers Box
4th Nov, Oklahoma City.
The Pacers got off to yet another slow start or was it the Thunder got off to a fast start? Either way the Thunder scored 8 unanswered to start the game, 6 by allstar point guard Russell Westbrook as the Pacers could only watch there poor offence only mount up to 16 1st quarter points for the 2nd game running.
Things didnt get any better in the 2nd as Indiana could buy a basket shooting just 28% from the field but on a good note they did trim there turnovers down to 12 after giving the ball up 22 times two nights earlier, Danny Granger lead the way 16 points but seemed at times to be forcing his shot up in a while the Thunder increased there lead to 20.
Vogel was clearly getting frustrated at how little he was getting from his starting big men Roy Hibbert and Tyler Hansbrough both playing 31 minutes but combined for 15 points and 12 rebounds numbers Frank Vogel would prefer from just one player alone.
Oklahoma put up a great defensive team effort tonight and were getting plays from role players James Harden and Kendrick Perkins both have stepped up there games early in the season, Harden the newest member of the starting lineup is averaging 17ppg and Perk has being a tear on the boards snatching 13 per contest.
Kevin Durant came into the game as the nba's 2nd leading scorer (34ppg) from 2 games but was held to just 16 vs the Pacers but was not really needed with such a the Thunder had he did however grab 10 rebounds in the 28 minutes he played in.Highlights

Recap/Team stats/Celtics Box/Pacers Box5th Nov 2011, Conseco Fieldhouse - Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Pacers fanbase poured into the fieldhouse to watch there home team play its first home game of the locked out season which ended just 2 weeks before the start of play and also saw the guys for indy get off to a slow start there first 2 games not taking care of the ball and shooting very poorly.
Tonight however would be a very different as this Pacer team would shoot the lights out lead by 2nd year Paul George who scored 14 of his 24 points in the 3rd quarter alone as he refused to let the Celtics spoil there homecoming lead by Ray Allen's 35 points hitting 7 three pointers along the way, he also grabbed 9 rebounds too joined by Kevin Garnett's 11 rebounds who also posted 18 points on the night, George would later be named Player of the Game.
Pacers coach Frank Vogel once again urged big man Roy Hibbert to toughen up on the boards but his center only managed 5 against a very physical Boston frontline, his teammate Tyler Hansbrough posted his 2nd double double of the season with 12 points 11 rebounds.
Danny Granger's offence is still missing in action but his coach is confident that his shots will start to fall soon enough, in Other Pacers news we have learnt today that guard George Hill has a sore elbow and is listed "day to day" but isnt expected to miss any action.
We have also being informed that the Oklahoma City Thunder will be without starting center Kendrick Perkins for the remainder of the season following a torn MCL in the 1st quarter vs the Dallas Mavericks, Perk was averging 9ppg 13rpg 2.2bpg.Highlights

I dig the team choice and the Up Next... feature. Will be interesting to see what you do with the team and how your youth develops.

Great presentation with the recaps and the game previews.

Not the best of starts so far, but hopefully with the young players on the roster you'll get it together soon.

Trade News
Pacers trade T.J Ford to Kings For Jason Thompson
13th Nov, Indiana.
Today the NBA's head office announced that the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings have agreed on a deal that would send little used T.J Ford and Mike Dunleavy to the Kings in return of Jason Thompson and Darnell Jackson.
Many see this as a lateral move that gives both clubs something they need most now in form of high or guard skills, both coaches were very happy to be adding pieces to there team that they feel can help them further down the road.
Jason Thompson hadnt seen much court time after the off season trade that brought in J.J Hickson from the Cavs but many in Indiana believe that "JT" has the tools to play both backup forward and center and could replace aging vet Jeff Foster in the near future.
Here are some more moves from around the league.

Never being a fan of cpu trades/signings in video games to be honest, always leave cpu trades off but i thought id give it a go in 2k12 but if they start pulling off stupid trades il revoke then!
