I've been a silent member of the boards for quite some time and have always followed many stories, especially those by Sit, Martti, Valor, Thierry and the X. I really get inspired by your work but I never really had the time nor the will to do my own Association/My Player story. Now that I am in college, I think I do have the time to do so. I also hope I don't "Thierry" this My Player story as well (no offense Thierry!). As much as I am inspired to write, I do suck at writing so please bare with me! Anyway, here goes. This is My Player's story.

“With the 10th pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks select… Justin Law from Harvard University”

Justin had imagined being drafted in his imagination far too many times, yet actually getting drafted was a whole new feeling, a feeling he did not know how to express. He was completely lost for words. The loud applauds of the Prudential Center did not make it any better for Justin to acknowledge the fact that he had been drafted. He gradually got out of his chair, gave quick hugs to his family members and friends and tried to collect his composure as he walk up the stage to shake the commissioners hand. The walk seemed like a lifetime, it was long enough for Justin to think of his journey to the NBA…

Justin was always the questionable athlete. With the amount of talent he had, he could have went to a high school that had a great basketball program and be recruited into a college with a great basketball program. Instead, Justin chose to attend private boarding school in Connecticut and he lead his school to three state championships, winning state player of the year during the three championship runs. He went on to attend Harvard University, graduating with a degree in economics. While in Harvard, Justin led the Crimson to two Ivy League conference titles. Word of his phenomenal play gradually spread out. Not only were the Crimson games starting to fill up, many NBA scouts begun attending Crimson games as Justin’s draft stock began to rise.

Wowing teams in his pre-draft workouts as well as putting up an amazing performance in the Rookie Showcase in New York, Justin went from being an unheard prospect to becoming a possible lottery pick in the 2011 NBA Draft.

… The long journey to the stage finally ended as Justin snapped out of the past. He walked over to the commissioner and shook his hand.

“Well done son. We will all be looking at your career with great interest”

He had made it to the NBA
