Yao was all over the place." Randolph said, who finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Chase Budinger is the high-point man for the Rockets with 19 points.

Rockets lose fifth straight, worst start in franchise history
MILWAUKEE- The Milwaukee Bucks erupted for ten straight points in the 4th quarter and ended up winning, 93-82. The Bucks defended the floor well, forcing the Rockets to miss 11 straight shots. "We contained their scorers. Also in the offensive end, we were making shots." exclaimed Coach Scott Skiles. John Salmons provided the firepower with 26 points. Yao Ming had 17 points.

Knicks falter, Rockets win for the first time
HOUSTON- Kyle Lowry and Kevin Martin combined for 9 points in the 4th quarter to force overtime, and the Houston Rockets never looked back in the overtime period to clinch their first win of the season, 131-123. "I was fortunately open in those moments, so I just did my duty of scoring." said Kyle Lowry, who had 24 points and 5 assists. "We learned our lesson in those 5 games, so we adjusted our defense in the endgame." Rick Adelman said. The Rockets forced the Knicks to miss close shots with their outstanding defense. Yao Ming was forced to leave the 4th quarter with a hamstring injury, but returned in the overtime period. Amar'e Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony lead the Knicks with 30 points apiece.
