The Los Angeles Clippers begin training camp believing what to be a prosperous season ahead of them. Former #1 overall pick Blake Griffin will join the likes of Eric Gordon, Baron Davis, Chris Kaman and DeAndre Jordan on the Clippers.

Blake Griffin suffers a minor injury in a pre-season game against the Greek team Olympiakos Piraeus. Griffin went for a dunk against Australian Matt Nielsen and landed on his hand causing after the competition of the dunk causing a fracture. Medics say that the Clippers star would be out for 5 weeks.

In the Clippers first game of the season, point guard Baron Davis suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and missed most of the 2010-11 season. Davis went up for a lay-up against Brandon Roy whom moved out of the way, causing Davis to hit the floor very hard.
31st November 2010 – 17th January 2011
Blake Griffin returns to the Clippers lineup and began training again. Griffin ended the Clippers losing streak and contributed right away averaging 20.2 PPG and 10.4 RPG. On the 17th of January, Blake Griffin suffered an ACL tear at the hands of Tyler Hansbrough. Griffin was going for a fantastic dunk and Hansbrough attempted to block the shot, again much like his prior injury, knocking him to the floor. Griffin was in pain and was taken off by medics much to the dismay of both the Clippers in uniform and the injured Clippers players in suits such as Baron Davis.

With two of the Clippers best players out for the season Eric Gordon had to step up and be the leader of the team, Gordon however too suffered a series of minor injuries throughout this period causing his numbers to drop dramatically from his inflated 23.4 PPG to 14.2 PPG.

With the final game of the Clippers season against the Grizzlies under the way, Eric Gordon attempted to add one more win to the Clippers disgraceful 19-62 record. Gordon erupted throughout the game, tying an NBA record for three-pointers with 12 three-pointers in the game. Gordon erupted for 54 points, showing a sign of hope for the struggling Clippers franchise. The Clippers won the game 132-89.

The struggling Los Angeles Clippers franchise was sold to industrialist playboy, Tony Stark for an undisclosed price.
3rd May 2011
New Clippers owner Tony Stark calls a press conference to tell the world that he is tired of the Clippers living in the shadow of the Lakers and is moving them to a city of magic. Stark states that the Clippers are being relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada and will be renamed the Las Vegas Ironmen.

Tony Stark states to the media that he has bought the rights to the newly built New Las Vegas Arena, a new 20000 seat arena that was built with the purpose of attracting an NBA team. Stark admits that he wanted to have the Ironmen play in style and renamed the arena “Stark Industries Arena”.

With the Clippers having the worst record in the NBA they had the best chance at the 1st overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. The Clippers won the draft lottery with Tony Stark being present to accept the pick. Stark admitted to wanting to select Harrison Barnes with the 1st overall pick.
