ESPN.com wrote:Billionaire Willie Lewis announces plans for 'Sonics Arena'; Approaches Stern for expansion team
Willie Lewis, a billionaire from Texas has unveiled his plans for what is currently being called 'Operation SOS'.
In this plan, Lewis has planned out an arena for a future expansion team. He claims that the stadium began construction in early 2009, but had not been announced until today. Lewis says that this is step one for plan 'SOS'.
"My first step, is to get this stadium planned out. My second step is to get an NBA team and either A, move them to Seattle, or to make an expansion team"
Lewis plans say that the new expansion team will play in Key Arena. Then after playing 1 season in Key, they will move to Sonics Arena, which is expected to be like the Amway Center in downtown Orlando.
When asked about which team he was thinking about contacting about a move, he responded quickly.
"I have 5 teams in my mind, and if 1 of those teams accepts, then they will move in to Seattle."
Clay Bennett has told Oklahoma City fans not to worry.
"I will fight for this team to stay in OKC. Even if it takes me to court, I will fight against this coward. He wants to take a team from OKC? Well, we won't let him that easily."
Lewis responded, "Poor bitch, looks like OKC can watch college basketball. Clay Satin Bennett can go suck his thumb, wondering why his plan to take the Sonics from Seattle failed in 3 years."

by Bill Wright, Seattle Times Journalist
The Seattle area is excited this year. With Willie Lewis leading the chance for a NBA team to relocate to Seattle, here are the 5 teams he will attempt to sway them to move to Seattle.
1. Oklahoma City Thunder
Yes, I know that Mr. Clay Satin Bennett said he would fight for this team, but it is impossible for the Thunder fans to even believe that they will have a team. Seattle loved Durant. Durant loves Seattle. Willie Lewis loves the Thunder team and Scott Brooks. Brooks has recently shared his admiration for Lewis' rebuliding tactics of a European team, the Derby Trailblazers, making them champions of the English Basketball League. And I think that the NBA favors OKC leaving for Seattle. Trust me, this is Willie Lewis' top choice, no matter what.
2. Minnesota Timberwolves
This bad team is bad, really bad. Ever since they traded away Kevin Garnett for Al Jeff, who is now a member of the Jazz, they've been down right pathetic. They've done bad in attendance, they can't seem to get a winning formula going, and the city hates them. The Twins really hate them though, for putting that huge ad. Lewis would be interested in rebuilding the team, but the fans would obviously be against this. Why want a losing team?
3. Sacramento Kings
This team is in deep trouble, as the NBA has ceased all help toward the Maloof brothers for a new stadium. After the Cal Expo refused the land swap, the Kings find themselves in a hole. Possible relocation sites include Seattle and other major but not suited for basketball cities. If you had a choice between Seattle and British Columbia, which would you choose? A city that has everything ready, or a city who has to do somethings to get ready. Fans would be in favor of this, but they would probably move to Anaheim or get a fund for 'Arco Arena III'.
4. Memphis Grizzles
The Grizz are very realistic in this situation. Micheal Heisley has been saying that the team won't move. Yeah, right. Why shouldn't they move? Memphis obviously isn't really a basketball town. He can't even get 15,000 to a game, worth noting it's on an average scale. And with the new stadium, this guy would be excited.
5. Charlotte Bobcats
The BOBcats, are very realistic, as Micheal Jordan says that a new team name is realistic. What about a new city, a new logo, and a new name? Enough said. Very low chance though.
Bill Wright is a reporter for the Seattle Times. He hopes to be the head journalist of ESPNSeattle.com; if it comes out.

ESPN.com wrote:LEWIS BUYS MINNESOTA AFTER LEAGUE OWNERS VOTE 25-5 AGAINST MOVING TO SEATTLE
Willie Lewis has bought the Minnesota Timberwolves after the NBA voted No for a new team to move to Seattle. Lewis was in shock after his discussion with David Stern, and released this statement.
"To all of the Seattle area fans. I am sorry for not getting a team back to Seattle. The owners simply did not agree with the Seattle Supersonics coming back. I am very disappointed in their decision. Operation SOS has been cancelled. I am sorry for what has occurred. Seattle was once again robbed of a team.
However, Willie Lewis bought the Minnesota Timberwolves and hopes to make them a contender in the near future.
"The Wolves have a great young core, and with all the draft rights they have, including the rights to Rubio, I think the future for the Wolves is great."
Then, when asked about Rubio's recent comments, saying that Minnesota is his first option, Lewis replied, "I really don't believe that. If it was, then he would be here leading our team to the playoffs."
