Help - Association (Player Morale)

Postby BlockMe1 on Mon Oct 18, 2010 6:07 am

Hey guys,
I tried Searching for Help with Association's Team Chemistry and found nothing, if anyone could direct me with a Link I can read about how I could improve Player's Morale, I'd really appreciate it.
My Question really is just:
1.) With Team Chemistry Turned Off, are Players still playing with their deducted Ratings on Court?
2.) How do I improve a Player Morale? All 7 of my players who aren't the Starters are sitting with Restless, Uneasy, Anxious, Uncertain, Unsettled, Offended, & Upset.
3.) Do I still have a chance of winning back the 2 guys who "has nothing left to say to you" said on their Player Card and are currently Offended & Upset?

Anyways, here's my troubled story..
I'm already 11 Games into my Association on Hall of Fame, 7 Minutes Quarters. I've already turned off my Team Chemistry because I know I'm not going to be able to give everyone their Minutes given what a garbage Bench my team has.

(Secret: I made my Bench for the purpose of dragging my Team Overall down so they don't look too good on paper that I feel bad having such overpowered Roster over any other real NBA Teams)

Now I just started to notice how my 6th Man and 1 of my Role Player who I frequently play still have their Rating going down hill even though my Team Chemistry is turned off. I gave them more Minutes on the Court, but they are still not satisfied.

The problem is I actually Do Need these 2 guys, BlockU is a 223cm Forward who is maxed out Defensively for the purpose of stopping an opponent who's on fire; while InThyFace, often subs in for my Starting Shooting Guard (InUrFace) whenever he misses 2 shots in a roll - these two Shooting Guards have the exact same Ratings & Tendencies.

I officially signed All the important players on my team to a 5-Year Contract so nobody can go anywhere else. I even give Everyone on my team the same Salary so nobody feels left out.

It is not until this day that I realized I could View Player's Card. I was thinking "it's only been 11 Games, nobody could hate the team that bad, right?". But by the look of it.. man I'm in Trouble o.o

4.) Is there still a way for my Team to go on without these 2 guys permanently losing their Ratings?

Thank you for your time guys @_@

hey Lamrock,
Thankyou for the answer, but my Player Roles are already Off =/
Does this mean no Deduction is actually taking effects on Court?
I'm sorry, I thought this is the place to talk about Associations..

This section is for posting your Association stories, but no real harm done.

Player roles have to be on, since it shows your player's role. Is it possible to turn off player roles mid-association now?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't task automation where you let the computer control your player roles? Wouldn't that mean that the computer isn't controlling your player roles, however, they are still on?

Good point. In 2K10, and probably 11, its a setting you make at start of association that you can't change once you've started.

Yeah, If I remember correctly you can turn off team chem. but not player roles. So I think the only way of combating the player roles problem would be to restart?

Yea, I can still switch it.

Well, I kept Player Roles Off still, but changed the 2's Role to Starter and simmed to Feburary..

Well, on the bright side after simming the game to the end of the Season the Rating Deduction doens't seem to go anywhere lower than -9 which I already have attained.

5.) So to do this correctly, I just need to make a New Association with Player Roles turned Off at the start like in the picture, right? Then there wouldn't be any problem with Negative Rating?

Man, I thought it'd be fun to be able to see what my Players feel and stuff.. it ended up backfiring on me. I don't even know how it all went to hell like this, I already gave them Minutes and everything.. :(
At first I was thinking of the quote "Winning solves everything", it doesn't work out here in the Association Mode ha.. :(

Thanks for the help guys.
