Assistant Head Coach-Iman Dingane specialty training
Assistant Coach-Ken Chisolm specialty shooting

Team needs
A shooting gaurd-Type, either a highflyer or an outside scorer
A center-Type, a shot blocker who can score inside

Stars of the team are Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi, two rookies who need a lot of improvement in many areas.

Comments from the new coach of the sacramento kings-I've had an interest in taking over the kings for a long time, mainly because they have a lot of cap room and nice young players to work with and improve. I feel that i can take this team to one of the top spots in our division in the near future. Its going to take a while to make this team into a winning team, but we have the right staff for the job and several trade possibilities to improve this team.

Tyreke evans comments-Wow, i was drafted by the sacramento kings and i'm so happy. And i'm already their team leader, my goal is to make this team better this year, i don't know if we'll make the playoffs but, we should be better and i also want to be the rookie of the year. But i need backcourt help, and we need another big man so coach and gm, please make a trade or sign a player or two or something please.

Media from Sacramento kings sports news tv 5
Dan James-A new season in the nba begins in a few days, and the city of sacramento is looking forward to seeing their sacramento kings in action. Particularly their two rookies Tyreke Evans and Omri Casppi, these two players are great young stars and should help this team in the future, become a winning team. We're looking forward to another season of sacramento king basketball.

The kings organization announce two big trades

Trade with pacers

The sacramento kings have aquired two big men from the indiana pacers.

Image

Coach-Roy Hibbert can be trained into a defensive stopper which is what we so desperately need at this point in time, more defense. Troy Murphey can spread the floor and is a decent rebounder.

The sacramento king aquire a veteran point gaurd from the orlando magic

Image

Jason Williams was aquired on the last day of the month and the kings are 7-6.
Kings stat leaders
T.Evans-21 ppg 4apg 1spg
Hawes-12ppg 6rbpg 1blk pg
F.Garcia-18ppg

Coach-This team is playing better than expected and at one point we were 4-0, we're struggeling to stay above 500 and hopefully we can stay several games above 500. Our big three are playing well, Tyreke evans, Freddy Garcia and Steven Hawes are all scoring well. I don't think we'll make any more trades but we may sign one more player, just to complete this team, we did sign Von Wafer and he's playing nicely off the bench.

Trades
Kings make trade with wizards

wizards get Andris Biedrins
Kings make another trade with the suns
kings get Jared Dudley
suns get Arron Afflalo and Joel Anthony
_____________________________
Last season we also picked up Ben Gordon from the pistons who is our starting shooting gaurd. We also made a trade with the nuggets last season for "The Birdman" Chris Anderson. We got Mike Miller as our 6th man to help boost our bench, to give our bench some offensive.

We signed Eddie House for the same reason as we got Mike Miller, because Eddie House can shoot the midrange shot and spread the floor. We're still relatively weak defensively though so, through this year's rookie draft and offseason signings, we'll be looking to pick up some defensive players.

We have Roy Hibbert who can block shots, Chris Anderson can block shots but that's about it in defense. We need a couple of players who can steal. Tyreke evans is our team leader along with Ben Gordon, we hope to be a high scoring offensive team this coming season.

Our main offensive players are Troy Murphey, Ben Gordon, Tyreke Evans, Mike Miller and Eddie House. Our only defensive players are Roy Hibbert and Chris Anderson. Although most of last year Steven Hawes has been playing well offensively, scoring in double digits most of the time, but he's not part of the offensive as much as our other offensive players will be.

No wonder you get tired of these. You aren't playing any games and you're just simming everything.

Yes, i've been looking at the kings for months now, and this team interests me more than minnesota did. Plus i just couldn't do anything with the timberwolves, i've been wanting to do a kings dynasty story so much. Because in season one in nba live 07, they have double digit cap space, and players i want to train and develop, and they have my two favorite kings Omri Casspi and Tyreke evans, I've heard a lot about Casspi on nba tv and i think he can be a star in this league with proper training. I'm very interested in the kings, more than any other dynasty that i've ever done.

Kings vs bobcats

Image

The game started out close and was close all the way through, for a while the bobcats had the lead, but thanks to 10 early 1st half assists by Tyreke Evans the kings took control. Hawes played good defense in the 1st half, one block came against Tyson Chandler, as Chandler went up for the dunk, Hawes blocked his shot.

The kings were a great three point shooting team in the 1st half, mainly from Ben Gordon and Eddie House, Mike Miller also chipped in a few points. The kings took over in the 3rd quartor with a big lead, but then late in the 4th quartor the kings settled down and thought they had won the game.

The kings were just playing to run the clock out while Reymond Felton was steadily scoring and passing throughout the 2nd half. The kings had the game won late in the 4th but a 2 point shot and then a 3 pointer missed by Mike Miller gave the game away for the kings, and the bobcats just started scoring.

Final score Bobcats 153 Kings 149

Yep, the cats won, as for House, he played well, i also tried to make him agressive on defense but he didn't do much defensively. Mike Miller cost us the game with some missed shots that were crucial.

It'll be a long time before this team becomes a good team, but with lots of training things should change, we have to bring in more defense, because right now we're just a jump shooting team.

The sacramento kings have earned a playoff birth for the first time since they had Chris Webber, this team is a very good offensive team and over half of the players can shoot from outside, can they bring home an nba championship to the city of sacramento? We will see.

Pacific division

Surprisingly the kings finished 2nd in a surprisingly weak pacific division, behind the la lakers.

This has been a great year for the kings organization, we made the playoffs in a tough western conference with a 40-42 record, we started the season playing well. Unbelievably though, even though the mavericks won the nba championship, the kings won the series against the mavericks this year.

Things look promising for this up and coming young team. We have one of the best offensive teams in the nba, we just have to improve in defense, really the only defender that we have is Al Horford whom we got in a trade for Spencer Hawes and two other players for.

This years draft is weak so, we'll only draft one player this year, we might sign a player to the midlevel exception if we can. We'll have a busy offseason, because we have to resign two of our young star players, Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi. They still have a lot of room for development.

Anyway, you can do anything you want with a team at Live 07, although I was 16-4 with New York when I retired it.

The best kings team in years
The sacramento kings have one of the best teams that they've had in years, they are fourth in the western conference at 23-19, but this team can still improve, especially in the power forward spot. We have a great shooter and rebounder starting in troy Murphey.

And a very young player that is his backup whom we recently drafted, but i think that's our only weak area. This year's draft is weak, so we can't get any quality players in the draft, we're playing well right now and so far this season we've been the best team in california.

End of the season
Its the end of the season and the kings "barely" made the playoffs as they had one bad month all season long in march, which almost cost them a playoff birth. But even though the kings finished second in the pacific division, they still earned a playoff birth.

We have mostly shooters on our team now, even our centers can shoot the midrange shot, so we should stay competitive in the playoffs. We won 44 games this year, hopefully we can win an nba championship this year. Many fans around the world and the media don't think we stand a chance of getting out of the first round this year.

We can understand why to because denver finished with the 3rd seed in the west with some great players, great scorers, they have two six men.

Denver nuggets main players
Dwayne Wade-9 points per game, scoring possibly went down after they made this trade with the heat, i don't know who denver traded for Wade.

Carmelo Anthony-19 ppg
Nene-15 ppg
Kenyon Martin 14 ppg
Ty Lawson 10 ppg
____
Denver nuggets bench leaders
J.R. Smith 8 ppg
Jose Barea 7 ppg

Comments from the coach
I think we're in for a competitive sudden death matchup, Wade and Anthony are tough players who can score, they love to dunk the ball, especially Wade. We have to step up our defense in this game, as well as throughout the playoffs if we advance. Our gaurds and small forwards will have their hands full, Mike Miller and Ben Gordon are going to have to be in the game at the same time at some point.

All the kings playoffs games will be played.

Re: The sacramento kings make the playoffs!

Tue Oct 19, 2010 7:22 am

The playoffs are over and here are the results
The kings did what everyone thought they couldn't do, and that is to stop Dwayne Wade and Carmelo Anthony from shooting and dunking. Those two wingmen made threes, they made midrange shots and they dunked over everyone and from everywhere.

Not only did the nuggets two starting wingmen contribute but, Nene had a huge game! He had 27 points and 10 rebounds. The kings coach has decided to become a different type of team, not just a jump shooting team any more. But he has decided that at training camp, and throughout the year, he's going to have his team work on offense and athletics, so they can be more run and gun.

We are going to work on defense as well, but we just can't out score other teams in the west sometimes, we want to be a fun and exciting team for our fans to watch, we must get better. This year's draft is weak, so we'll only draft one player, we'll either draft a small forward or a big man, whether its a center or power forward.

Chris Anderson skills are declining with age, so we're going to have to do something with him, but at least he can still play a little defense, but he gets no playing time and that's a waist of money we could use for something elese.

Excpect to see some changes to this roster, rookie draft, free agent martket and maybe a trade ior a player or two in the offseason.

Re: The sacramento kings make the playoffs!

Thu Oct 21, 2010 5:28 am

Rookie draft
This was a weak draft so we didn't excpect to get any good players in this years draft, but we did get a player who fits perfectly in our system. We're trying to be a great defensive team and we got a 6'9 249 power forward named Bruno Hidalgo. Although he gets tired easily and he's slow, he has a knack for blocking shot.

Although Bruno will get no playing time for the next 3 years because he's inexperienced, and we're stacked with forwards. Bruno will spend time in development, as our assistants will be focusing mainly on athletics, so he can develop his speed and jumping especially.

Bruno should improve a lot because when we drafted him his overall was only 64, but after training camp it went up to 65. We didn't sign anyone from the free agent market after the draft, but we did make a a big trade. The kings aquired defensive specialist Al Jefferson from the new york knicks for the kings center Al Horford. Horford was 93 and Jefferson was 87.

Image

I've decided to move backup shooting gaurd Mike Miller to the inactive list and have Ben Gordon and Shannon Brown as our two shooting gaurds, at training camp we focused on offense and athletics with both assistants.

Re: The sacramento kings make the playoffs!

New season started
Our goal this season is simple, more defense. So far we're not as competitive as we should be but later in the year we should be better, surprisingly the lakers are struggeling with the wrost record in the pacific at 4-12.

Image

For most of the year we'll be focusing on improving our players defensive skills, starting with our big men, particularly our centers, they're already defensive stoppers, but we want them to be even better.

Image

Image

We are one of the top 10 teams with the most points in the league with 1601 points, our main scorers are Ben Gordon 23 ppg, Tyreke Evans 19 ppg and our starting small forward Jared Dudley the sharp shooter at 18 ppg, i guess this would be our big three.
