Grizzlies and Magic agreed on a deal



The Orlando Magic sent Mickael Pietrus to the Grizzlies in exchange of former Celtics shooting guard,Tony Allen.
Tony Allen was born in Chicago,IL.He was drafted by the Celtics in the 2004 NBA Draft with the 25th pick in the 1st round.He was a back-up shooting guard for Boston in most of the years.Allen is a 2008 NBA Champion with the Boston Celtics.
Tony Allen is averaging 7.3ppg,1.3apg and 2.6rpg through his career.He will be giving Vince Carter some rest in the upcoming season.

i just didnt have a backup SG for Carter and i really didnt need Pietrus

But dude, Pietrus was a back up SG and he is good in everything, offense deffense. Dont really understand your trade.

Pietrus was mostly used as a backup SF last season not SG,backup SG was Redick but right now i have Q rich on my squad and Tony Allen is going to be a good backup for Carter.
