If you got Darren Collison and Posey for Vujacic and Walton, then you robbed NOH big time.

After winning their 17th chip last 2009-2010 season against the Celtics, the Los Angeles Lakers made minor changes within it's roster, particularly within it's bench. Here are the clues, and i hope you can name who they are:

The Lakers made DA COLL with a man POSEssed.
It cost them a BILL, a trip to Ohman, and someone SaVvy.

Another move has been made, So Be it.
------------------------------------------------------------------
The 2 team trade has now became a 3 team trade.

The Lakers sweetened the deal by adding a future first round pick.
The team whom the Lakers called, gives up a STOck + a future 2nd to a familiar territory.
The familiar territory will also get a BILL.
In exchange, the familiar territory will give up a COLORFUL young man plus a big MaC.

The Los Angeles Lakers pulled the trigger, and landed a former UCLA standout Darren Collison
from the New Orleans Hornets via 3 team 8 player deal. The sophomore averaged 12.4 points,
2.5 rebounds, 5.7 assist, and 1 steal per outing as the main back-up of Chris Paul.
The Lakers also acquired the services of a two-time NBA Champion in James Posey who will
be suiting up for his 7th team in 13 years playing as a pro. In exchange, the Lakers gave up
Jordan Farmar, Sasha Vujacic, plus a future first round pick to the Hornets.

The Hornets will also get the services of Donte Greene and Dominic McGuire from the
Sacramento Kings, with the Hornets giving up Peja Stojakovic and his 15 million expiring contract.
The Kings on the other hand, did get Luke Walton plus cash considerations.
Luke Walton is expected to be bought out and return to the Lakers.

Breaking down the deal

Image
Incoming Players:
Darren Collison and James Posey
Outgoing Players:
Sasha Vujacic, Jordan Farmar, and Luke Walton

The Breakdown:

The Lakers will get a versatile point guard in Darren Collison a perfect fit for the Lakers'
triangle offense. Collison, who shoots 40% from the 3pt area will surely be the main man
at the PG position once Fisher retires. The future of the Lakers is looking bright with a
Collison/Bynum Combo. The Lakers also got James Posey, Posey is a tough Defender and
has lots of playoff experience and will be a great backup for Artest and Bryant.
The Lakers surely benefited from this trade, with Odom/Posey/Collison parading the bench.

Grade: A

Image
Incoming Players:
Jordan Farmar, Sasha Vujacic, Donte Greene and Dominic McGuire
Outgoing Players:
Darren Collison, James Posey and Peja Stojakovic

The Breakdown:

The Hornets needed immediate cap relief and this deal benefited them, they may have
lost a future superstar in Darren Collison, a 3pt shooter in Peja Stojakovic and a veteran in
James Posey but they gained an expiring contract in Sasha Vujacic, a slasher in Jordan Farmar
and two hardworking forwards in Donte Greene and Dominic McGuire and a future first round pick.
Overall, this trade benifited them and answered their salary cap problems.

Grade: B-

Image
Incoming Players:
Luke Walton and Peja Stojakovic
Outgoing Players:
Donte Greene and Dominic McGuire

The Kings may have looked like dumb in making this deal, but believe it or not they
benefited from it. The max salary expiring contract of Peja Stojakovic is valueable,
they can use it as an asset to land a big time player, they can use it as a trade chip before the trade
deadline. The Kings also got Luke Walton plush cash considerations, rumors say that the Lakers
gave them cash considerations to buy out Luke Walton and return to the Lakers.

Grade: B

Nice signings by New York. Except losing Duhon and Harrington. They need a PG like Mike Bibby or D.J. Augustin now.

"With the first pick of the 2010 NBA Draft, the Washington Wizards select....."

Are you familiar with that line? Oh yeah!! It's draft day again!! David Stern comes out from backstage
and announced that John Wall, is the Wizards' first overall draft pick this year's annual NBA draft.
The lightning quick guard is one of the most electrifying players to come out of the college ranks in years,
a great open court player, a quick first step, and ability to create his own shots are just few of the many
things John Wall can do, he also compliment JaVale McGee's game, the Wizards will form an athletic
pick n' roll duo. By selecting Wall, Gilbert Arenas will be sliding down to the 2 spot which will form
a deadly back court duo(except the guns, lol).
